New York, NY – Taboola (Nasdaq: TBLA), a performance platform for advertisers, today announced its inclusion on the 2026 America’s Greatest Workplaces in Tech list, published by Newsweek and research firm Plant-A Insights Group.
The America’s Greatest Companies 2026 ranking recognizes 650 publicly listed U.S. corporations based on an evaluation across four performance categories: financial stability, workplace performance, innovation, and environmental sustainability. Out of roughly 4,300 companies initially reviewed, 2,800 met eligibility requirements for full evaluation, with Taboola selected among the final 650 honorees.
When: The list was published on August 25, 2026.
Where: The complete rankings and methodology are available on Newsweek’s website and linked here.
Methodology Overview: Eligibility required companies to be publicly traded on a U.S. exchange, maintain U.S. headquarters, and report over $75 million in FY2025 revenue. Plant-A Insights Group evaluated qualified companies using a proprietary scoring model across four key areas:
- Stock & Financial Performance (50%): Assessed via SEC Form 10-K filings covering top-line growth, profitability (EBITDA), investor returns, and fiscal responsibility.
- Workforce Performance (20%): Evaluated through an independent survey of over 179,000 U.S. employees (2.7 million reviews) and HR analytics data from Aniline.
- Innovation (20%): Measured using USPTO data, including patent filings, citations, sector diversity, and R&D investment.
- Sustainability Performance (10%): Calculated using standardized third-party environmental ratings.
Final selections incorporated a 24-month media screening for legal and regulatory compliance, a longitudinal continuity adjustment, and editorial review by Newsweek. The research operates under a strict no-pay-to-play model with no application fees.
