Adam Singolda

Founder & CEO

Adam Singolda is the founder and CEO at Taboola (NASDAQ: TBLA), a technology company that powers recommendations for the open web, helping people discover things they may like.

Adam founded the company in 2007 and since then, Taboola has become a leading, global platform used by digital properties, including websites, devices and mobile apps, to drive monetization and user engagement. Taboola has long-term partnerships with some of the top digital properties in the world, including CNBC, BBC, NBC News, Business Insider, The Independent and El Mundo.

More than 15,000 advertisers use Taboola to reach over 500 million daily active users in a brand-safe environment. Following the acquisition of Connexity in 2021, Taboola is a leader in powering e-commerce recommendations, driving more than 1 million monthly transactions. Leading brands including Walmart, Macy’s, Wayfair, Skechers and eBay are among key customers.

Adam has spoken on stage at TEDx, Cannes Lions, DMEXCO, CES, Collision, Business Insider’s IGNITION, Advertising Week, MIT (Sloan) and more. He has also appeared in broadcast TV interviews including Bloomberg West, CNBC, Fox Business and NASDAQ.


Zvi Limon

Chairman of the Board & Private Investor

Zvi has been an investor in public and private technology companies since 1990. In the late 90’s, Zvi co-founded Magma Venture Partners and still is a General Partner of the firm.

In his early career Zvi was a management consultant at Bain & Co. London and at Shaldor Ltd. in Israel.

Zvi serves on the board of directors of several private and publicly traded companies.

Zvi holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from The Bar Ilan University.


Erez Shachar

Managing Partner Evergreen Venture Partners

Erez joined Evergreen in the beginning of 2004 as a managing partner, and focuses on Evergreen’s investments in the Software, Internet and New Media sectors.

Erez joined Evergreen from NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (acquired by HP), where he served as CEO and President since 1997. Under his direction, NUR increased its revenues sevenfold by significantly penetrating global markets. Company sales increased from $16 million to over $120 million per year in less than four years. From his position as the CEO of a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ and a world-wide leader in its field, Erez has significant operational and managerial experience as well as first-hand experience with international capital markets.

Prior to joining NUR, Erez held several senior managerial positions at Scitex Corporation (NASDAQ: SCIX), where he began as a software engineer. Erez holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University and has an MBA from INSEAD. Erez was Evergreen’s representative on the Boards of Traiana, which was sold to ICAP for $251M and of Identify, which was acquired by BMC Software for $150M. Erez is currently acting as a board member in Taboola, Varonis, Press-sense, e-Glue and Aniboom.


Nechemia (Chemi) J. Peres

Managing General Partner and Co-Founder of Pitango Venture Capital

Chemi is a Managing General Partner and Co-Founder of Pitango Venture Capital, Israel largest VC Group.

Mr. Peres is also Chairman of Al-Bawader, Israel’s first VC fund focused on the Israeli Minorities’ Sectors, and serves as chairman of TakwinLabs, an Incubator focused on these sector.

Mr. Peres is Founder and Chairman of Amelia, a Middle East PE Fund. In 1992 he founded the Mofet Israel Technology Fund, one of Israel’s first VC funds, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Chemi gained extensive experience as an investor and a board member of several publicly traded companies on NASDAQ and NYSE such as Aladdin Knowledge Systems, AudioCodes, BackWeb, Koor Industries, Vocaltec and Voltaire to mention a few. He serves on the boards of numerous privately held companies such as Via Transportation, Radwin and Idomoo among others.

Prior to his Venture Capital activities Mr. Peres was an executive at Decision Systems Israel, and a senior consultant to Israel Aerospace Industries. He holds an MBA degree and a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Tel Aviv University.

Chemi is chairman of the Peres center for peace & Innovation, and is on the board of directors of SFI (Social Finance Israel). He is also chairman of the advisory board of Impact1st, Israel leading social technology impact investment fund.

Mr. Peres co-founded Israel Venture Association (a.k.a. IATI – Israel Advanced Technology Industries) and served as its Chairman (2003-2004). He also chaired the Israel America Chamber of Commerce (2008-2011). Mr. Peres is a board member in additional non-for-profit organizations.


Rick Scanlon

Founding Partner, Innovation Endeavors

Rick is a founding partner at Innovation Endeavors. He joined the firm in 2017 when Innovation Endeavors merged with Marker LLC, a New York and Israel-based venture capital firm Rick co-founded in 2011.

Prior to Marker, Rick was a managing partner at Crescent Point, a Singapore-based venture and private equity firm he co-founded in 2003. After sixteen years of living in Asia, Rick moved back to the US and launched Marker. At Marker, he invested in a number of industry leading high-growth technology companies including Yext, Datorama, Taboola, and Team8.

Earlier in his career, Rick was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. He earned a BA from Middlebury College, where he concentrated on art and physics. He is currently a member of the of Middlebury College Board of Trustees.


Deirdre Bigley

Chief Marketing Officer at Bloomberg LP

Deirdre joined Bloomberg, L.P., a global business and financial information and news leader, in 2009 and served as the Chief Marketing Officer from 2013 to 2021. Prior to joining Bloomberg, L.P., Deirdre spent thirteen years at International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), serving in several capacities, including Vice President of Worldwide Advertising and Interactive, and Vice President of Worldwide Brand. Deirdre serves on the board of directors of: Shutterstock, Inc., a global supplier of commercial imagery, video and music since May 2016; Wix.com Ltd., a cloud-based development platform, since November 2017; and Sportradar Group AG, a sports betting and sports entertainment company, since April 2021. Deirdre holds a B.A. in English from West Chester University.


Lynda Clarizio

Co-Founder and General Partner of The 98

Lynda Clarizio has over 20 years of experience in the media industry growing and scaling businesses with a focus on data and technology. She is the Co-Founder and General Partner of The 98, an early stage venture fund investing in tech-enabled businesses led by women. Ms. Clarizio most recently served as President of U.S. Media at Nielsen, Executive Vice President at AppNexus, and Chief Executive Officer at INVISION. She previously held a variety of executive positions with AOL, including President of Advertising.com. Ms. Clarizio also serves on the boards of directors of CDW, Intertek Group, Emerald, Cambri, Simpli.fi and Human Rights First.


Gilad Shany

Managing Partner at ION Crossover Partners & CEO at ION Acquisition Corp

Gilad is a Managing Partner at ION Crossover Partners Ltd., an Israeli-based crossover fund that he co-founded in 2018. Prior to ION Crossover Partners, Mr. Shany served as General Partner of Magma Venture Partners. He previously served as Vice President of Baron Capital, where he gained over 10 years of experience investing in innovative growth companies in public and private markets. He led investments with various international companies, including Tesla Inc. (TSLA), Mobileye NV (acquired by Intel $15.3BN), Mellanox Technologies (acquired by NVIDIA $6.9BN), Varonis Systems Inc. (VRNS), Fiverr (FVRR) and Monday.com (MNDY), among others.

Prior to that Mr. Shany spent 14 years with the Israel Air Force. Mr. Shany holds a B.S. degree in Physics, Astronomy, and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Mr. Shany also holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.


Monica Mijaleski

Yahoo’s Chief Financial Officer

Monica Mijaleski, as Yahoo’s Chief Financial Officer, oversees all finance operations for the global business, including Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Procurement, Internal Audit, Yield and Pricing, Real Estate and Research & Analytics.

Prior to Yahoo, Monica was Group CFO of Verizon Media. Monica helped lead the sale of Verizon Media to Apollo and subsequent to that, stood up a full Finance function, and helped carve out the Yahoo structure into separate segmented businesses. Prior to taking over as CFO for Verizon Media, Monica headed up the FP&A function for Verizon Media’s Consumer owned and operated businesses.

During her four years with News Corp, she drove the Global FP&A function across five separate business segments, including newspaper, book publishing, digital real estate and their cable/digital cable business.

Monica kick started her career at Sony Music where she worked her way taking on Finance roles of increasing responsibility and assisting the company’s massive digital transformation. Prior to her departure, Monica led the Global FP&A function.

Monica received her Masters in Professional Accounting at MacQuarie University in Sydney, Australia, and her Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Sciences) at University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Monica is a Certified Public Accountant.
