Kyunghyang Shinmun, One of Korea’s Leading News Media Companies Enters Into Exclusive Partnership with Taboola
Korea, February 26, 2020 – Taboola, the world’s leading discovery platform, today announced an exclusive partnership with Kyunghyang Shinmun, one of Korea’s leading news media companies. The collaboration will see Kyunghyang Shinmun using Taboola’s discovery platform across all of their regional sites on mobile and web to maximize traffic, increase reader engagement and drive revenue.
Kyunghyang will integrate Taboola Feed a vertical-scrolling feed that enables users to access content including articles and in-feed video. Similar to how people experience social networks, Taboola Feed encourages audiences to stay engaged on a publisher’s site by scrolling through a personalised stream of content, video and other experiences the user might be interested in discovering next.
Kyunghyang will also implement Taboola Newsroom, which provides editorial teams with actionable insights and data about content performance in real-time, as well as unique insights on trending topics from Taboola’s publisher network.
“We are excited to continue expanding our reach across Korea,” says Jeongyong Kim, Head of e-marketing, Kyunghyang Shinmun. “With Newsroom, our vast editorial team will gain deeper insights to be able to uncover content trends and track the impact of their own content. We are confident that these insights coupled with a more finely tuned curated content experience will continue to grow our audience and increase user engagement and loyalty.”
“Using discovery technology to grow audiences, engagement and revenue is part of a larger, more advanced holistic strategy,” said Adam Singolda, Founder and CEO at Taboola. “As audiences continue to flow across various devices and platforms, it’s vital to empower the publisher organization, including editorial, sales, and marketing teams to see what content resonates with their audiences. We are excited to partner with Kyunghyang Shinmun, and work together to drive innovation and loyalty for years to come.”
