Realize MCP Server

Connect AI assistants to Realize with the Realize MCP Server

Overview

The Realize MCP Server connects an AI assistant — such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or Cursor — to your Realize account using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for linking AI assistants to external data. Once connected, you can work with your account in plain language: retrieve campaign and performance data, and carry out actions in your account — with each action requiring your approval in the chat before it runs.

What you can do:

  • Retrieve and analyze data — look up accounts, review campaigns and their creative items, and generate performance reports for a date range you specify, all through natural-language requests.

  • Take action with your approval — create and update campaigns, manage them, and manage their creative items and assets, directly from the chat. Each change runs only after you approve it, so nothing is altered without your sign-off.

MCP Server's capabilities are still expanding, so some tasks are available only in the Realize dashboard for now.

Before you begin

  • A Realize account. The hosted connection uses your normal Realize login (via single sign-on).

  • An MCP-compatible AI assistant (for example, Claude Code, or Cursor)

Setup and connection steps — including how to authenticate — are covered in the Dev Center.

Good to know

  • Actions require your approval. The assistant will not change anything in your account until you confirm the action in the chat, so nothing runs on its own.

  • Account lookup comes first. Most requests begin by identifying the account, so reference the account by name or ID when you ask.

  • Always specify a date range for reports. Reports return for the period you request, so include a timeframe to keep figures tied to the correct dates and attribution context.

  • Access reflects your permissions. The assistant can only see and act on the accounts and data your Realize credentials are authorized to access.
