Now is a great time to join Taboola! We are looking for a smart, driven and structured/creative Marketing Manager  to support the ambitious growth targets for Italy (80% of the role) as a mature region and Turkey (20% of the role) as an expansion market. The role requires leading the local marketing efforts to reflect the growth and is located in our Milan office.

The Marketing Manager role is a full time position and will require the candidate to collaborate closely with the regional Country Managers and Sales teams in Italy and Turkey, as well as Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, Design and other functions to execute on the marketing plan with the goal to drive business growth in the different regions. This role empowers you to be creative, testing new formats and engagement tactics to continuously optimize our regional presence

We’re looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude who has excellent skills in project management, collaboration and communications, and a drive to learn!

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: 4+ years in B2B marketing (SaaS/Tech preferred) with experience executing campaigns that contribute to business growth.
  • Language: Native or high professional proficiency in Italian, high professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) are essential.
  • Project Management: Strong operational discipline. Ability to independently manage multiple work streams and prioritize conflicting demands to deliver projects on time.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and effective communication style. Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and professionally align expectations.
  • International Collaboration: Experience working in a hybrid, international structure, capable of driving initiatives autonomously while reporting to a remote manager.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of sales cycles and the ability to link marketing activities to business outcomes and efficiency.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Execution: Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution (e.g., copywriting, asset localization, event logistics).
  • Tools & Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce, G-Suite, and the AdTech ecosystem is a plus.

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll bring value by:

  • Strategic Growth & Culture: Partner with Sales leadership to develop and execute a high-performing marketing strategy that leverages local business culture to drive ambitious growth in Italy and strategic expansion in Turkey.
  • Events & Brand Presence: Elevate Taboola’s regional profile by identifying and executing high-impact industry events (e.g., IAB Intersections) and hosted formats (e.g., Masterclasses) across both markets, ensuring every activation drives measurable ROI.
  • PR & Communications: Drive local PR efforts in Italy to boost brand awareness and executive visibility, including securing local bylines, interviews, and adapting global data stories for the local market with the support and the management of our local PR agency.
  • Content Localization (Italy): Independently localize and adapt global content assets for the Italian market, ensuring cultural relevance and high-quality storytelling that resonates with local publishers and advertisers; manage external translations for Turkey where necessary.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive customer retention and loyalty through strategic client engagement, ranging from exclusive hosted events to targeted gifting initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Campaign Execution: Manage data-driven paid and organic campaigns to generate leads and brand awareness, ensuring all messaging is culturally adapted to resonate with local decision-makers.
  • Performance Analysis: Translate marketing activities into meaningful reports using Salesforce and QlikSense to enable informed decisions and resourcefully optimize the regional budget.
  • Product & Ecosystem Mastery: Become an expert in Taboola’s ecosystem (Publishers, Advertisers, and Agencies) to effectively market our full suite of solutions, with a specific focus on driving adoption of Realize, our performance marketing platform.
