Erez Shachar | Managing Partner Evergreen Venture Partners
Erez joined Evergreen in the beginning of 2004 as a managing partner, and focuses on Evergreen’s investments in the Software, Internet and New Media sectors.
Erez joined Evergreen from NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (acquired by HP), where he served as CEO and President since 1997. Under his direction, NUR increased its revenues sevenfold by significantly penetrating global markets. Company sales increased from $16 million to over $120 million per year in less than four years. From his position as the CEO of a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ and a world-wide leader in its field, Erez has significant operational and managerial experience as well as first-hand experience with international capital markets.
Prior to joining NUR, Erez held several senior managerial positions at Scitex Corporation (NASDAQ: SCIX), where he began as a software engineer. Erez holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University and has an MBA from INSEAD. Erez was Evergreen’s representative on the Boards of Traiana, which was sold to ICAP for $251M and of Identify, which was acquired by BMC Software for $150M. Erez is currently acting as a board member in Taboola, Varonis, Press-sense, e-Glue and Aniboom.
Zvi Limon
Zvi has been an investor in public and private technology companies since 1990. His activity has mostly focused on companies in the communication space. Zvi is presently a General Partner at Rimon funds and a Venture Partner at Magma Venture Capital (previously Magnum). Prior to founding Magnum, Zvi was a management consultant at Bain & Co. in London and at Shaldor Ltd. in Israel.
Zvi serves on the board of directors of several private and publicly traded companies: DSPG (Nasdaq:DSPG) , CEVA (Nasdaq :EVA), Tefron (NYSE:TFR), Autotalks and GI View
Zvi holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Bar Ilan University
Aaron Nahumi
Taboola’s former General Counsel. Nahumi obtained his degree in Law (LL.B.) from Tel Aviv University, and in parallel completed his undergraduate studies in Philosophy, and also obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of London, London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). Also began studies (not completed) for a Doctorate degree at the Brussels University (Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)), in the field of Computer Law and Intellectual Property.
Nahumi acted, inter alia, as one of the legal advisers for the Committee of Revision of the Electricity Market in Israel, established by the Ministry of Energy (1994), as the legal adviser for the Committee examining the Postal Market in Israel, established by both the Israeli Ministry of Communication and the Ministry of Finance (1999) and for a couple of years as an external legal adviser of the Israeli Ministry of Communication.
Nahumi has an extensive experience (as a lawyer, arbitrator and mediator), in dealing with high tech and start-up companies, investment transactions, commercial law, corporate law, communication intellectual property and very complex international business transactions. Member of the Israel Bar and the New York State Bar. Former board member in Creator Ltd. and WhiteSmoke Inc., and Transpid Ltd.
