Publisher Sales and Business Development Director (NY Office)
Taboola is looking for a business development director to expand the distribution of our content recommendation platform to additional publisher and media sites
Taboola works with NYTimes, Bloomberg, Gannett, USA Today, CNN, Hearst and more. This role will be expected to form similar partnerships to extend our distribution footprint. In addition, this role is also responsible for generating direct revenue by selling traffic acquisition programs to key publishers, blogs, agencies and partner accounts.
We are looking for a strong deal-oriented professional who can identify, source and structure partnerships independently. The candidate should have experience working with digital teams of large publishers such as newspapers, magazines and media companies in general. Also previous experience selling to audience development and/or marketing teams at online publishers.
Responsibilities and skills
- Deal focused individual who can independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue and close.
- Manage presentation, build relationship and negotiate contracts.
- Sell multiple products to a given customer by finding the right stakeholders for each product without confusing overall product messaging.
- Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
- Work closely with the SVP of Publisher Sales and Client Services to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals. Interact with Client Services team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our widgets or technology.
- Gain an Understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem and be able to explain product benefits within this context.
- Convey sentiment from the field to product management teams in regard to product development features.
Requirements
- Proven communication, presentation, phone etiquette and general sales skills.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating deals with Internet company or deals where an online component and revenue was central.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor, converse with clients and to identify trends in data and in generated reports.
- Technologically Savvy – able to learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment and learn, learn, learn!

Sponsored Video Campaign Manager (NY Office)
Taboola is seeking a talented Campaign Manager for its Sponsored Video product. The position entails working with existing content advertisers (publishers, brands and agencies) on our Recommendation Platform. This position will report to the head of sales in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign launches – handling all technical requests to Ad Ops in order to launch a campaign successfully - promotion factors, spending caps, pacing etc.
- Creative Management- getting the RSS feeds, tracking codes, images and headlines from the client and upselling to get more content and a/b testing
- Campaign Management – Working with clients to help them hit their campaign goals, budgeting and scaling
- Billing – syncing up on with accounts payable on billing issues
- Reports – analyzing and creating custom reports for clients
Requirements
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a large ad network media company in the video space, experience from and industry a leading company – big advantage
- Technologically Savvy – able to learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization

Job Requirements:
- 3 years of hands on experience with version control and build frameworks: SVN, Bugzilla, RPM packaging
- Strong experience in Linux System Administration, control, automation and scripting
